Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us.
Who we are
This policy explains how STONEBRIDGE GLOBAL RECRUITMENT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, trading as Stonebridge Global Recruitment (“we”, “us”), handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of our recruitment services. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.
Information we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number and location;
- your right-to-work status in Australia;
- role preferences, employment history, skills, qualifications, licences and screening checks you tell us about;
- your availability and preferred working arrangements;
- for employers, your organisation, role and the details of positions you want to fill;
- the content of messages you send us.
We ask you not to send sensitive information, such as health information, unless it is directly relevant to a role and we have asked for it.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you complete a form, email us or speak with us. When you submit a form on this website, your details are prepared as an email that you send to us from your own email account. If an employer provides feedback about you after an introduction you agreed to, we may record that feedback.
How we use it
- to assess your suitability for roles and contact you about opportunities that match your profile;
- to introduce you to an employer, but only after you have agreed to be put forward for a specific role;
- to respond to employer enquiries and manage recruitment assignments;
- to answer questions and requests you send us;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Disclosure
We may disclose your information to an employer you have agreed to be introduced to, to service providers who help us operate (such as email and data storage providers) under confidentiality obligations, and where required or authorised by law. Some service providers may store data outside Australia; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is protected.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep information only for as long as it is needed for recruitment purposes or to meet legal requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Access and correction
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your registration. Email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
